These started being broadcast when I was seventeen. I don't know whether it's just nostalgia, but I rather prefer them. The new full video idents are interesting though.

The only important part of this story is that there's a picture of a revised K9 that I haven't seen anywhere else on the web. Has anyone seen a larger version?

A nice bit of work that someone's already built on top of the BBC Programme Information dataset showing relatedness based on whether people have been on the same TV or radio show...

I really like it - it wouldn't look completely out of place in any decade since the forties and the trenchcoat is absurdly dramatic and cool
